Flanged gate valve EN 558 Series 3 with by-pass. For water and neutral liquids. Temperature range: -10° C to +70° C.
The series 55/49 is a BS high performance, large diameter, resilient seated gate valve complete with single piece by-pass. The valve features the renown AVK, fully encapsulated wedge, allowing for flexibility in the final installed position and significantly reduced operating torques when compared to other valve designs. Features
- Fixed, integral wedge nut prevents vibration and gives high durability
- Polyamide wedge shoes protect the wedge rubber and provide low operating torques
- A large conical stem hole in the wedge prevents stagnant water
- Triple safety stem sealings: An NBR wiper ring, a polyamide bearing with two O-rings, and with lip seal as the main hydraulic seals to the flow
- Two roller bearings and a thrust collar of stainless steel provide low operating torques
- Round EPDM bonnet gasket fixed in a recess
- Countersunk and sealed stainless steel bonnet bolts encircled by the bonnet gasket
- Full bore
- Integrated lifting eyes for easy handling
- Fusion bonded epoxy coating in compliance with DIN 3476 part 1 and EN 14901, GSK approved
- Actuator flange F16/ Spindle Ø40
- DN 450/500 at 16 bar differential pressure maximum operating torque set to 450 Nm
- DN 600 at 16 bar differental pressure maximum operating torque set to 500 Nm
